Artist Statement

My name is Inna Parkhomenko, and I am a mural and interior artist based in Jacksonville, Florida.

My artistic journey began in the United States, in Chicago — the city where I first experienced mural painting as a dialogue between art, space, and people. Creating large-scale works allowed me to feel how art can transform an environment, influence emotions, and become part of everyday life.

I work with murals, interior paintings, and mixed media, exploring themes of growth, transformation, and inner states through metaphor and symbolism. Nature, organic forms, and the human emotional landscape often become the foundation of my visual language.

My approach is intuitive and process-driven. I value authenticity, visible brushwork, and layered surfaces that preserve the energy of movement and decision-making. I believe that art does not need to be perfect to be powerful — it needs to be honest.

A special focus of my practice is creating art for private homes, offices, and family spaces, including environments for children. I believe that the spaces we live in shape our sense of safety, imagination, and emotional balance. Through murals and interior works, I aim to create environments that feel alive, supportive, and inspiring.

Each project I create is site-specific and unrepeatable — a visual story born from a particular place, moment, and human connection.
